Job description
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with various departments within the company, ensuring you stay informed about their needs and requirements concerning business processes, work methods, and IT systems.
- You will analyze and study existing business processes and their corresponding information flow to accurately interpret them.
- You will develop a functional analysis based on the gathered information to form the foundation for technical analyses.
- You will consult with the relevant end-users and, using your expertise, propose the best solutions to optimize processes.
- You will explain the functional analyses (Stories) to the developers and follow up on these developments through to the GO-Live stage.
- You will provide end-users with the necessary documentation to help them adapt to the new solution.
- You will also offer training for end-users when needed.
- Throughout the implementation, you will maintain an advisory and supportive role.
In summary, you’ll continuously face new challenges, where you’ll have the freedom and responsibility to develop the best solutions.
Who are you?
- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- You have experience with functional analysis (system and/or process) and business processes (accounting, logistics, sales).
- You have a strong interest in business processes.
- You can distinguish details from the essence, allowing you to quickly identify real bottlenecks and opportunities.
- You are proficient with data tools and can query databases or have a strong interest in this area. Knowledge of PowerBI, SQL, and IBM Series (AS/400) is a plus.
- In this role, you will have intensive contact with internal colleagues and external partners. You can work well with different personality types, and you are discreet, respectful, and skilled at building professional relationships.
- You are strong in planning and organizing.
- You are involved, assertive, and persuasive. you can give presentations and steer meetings and working groups in the right direction.

Hoe ziet jouw takenpakket eruit?
- Je legt contacten en bouwt een goede relatie op met de verschillende afdelingen in het bedrijf. Zo blijf je op de hoogte van de noden en behoeften die er leven op vlak van bedrijfsprocessen, werkmethodes en IT-systemen.
- Je analyseert en bestudeert de bestaande bedrijfsprocessen en de bijhorende informatiestroom om deze correct te kunnen interpreteren.
- Je werkt een functionele analyse uit op basis van de verzamelde informatie om het fundament te vormen voor de technische analyses.
- Je overlegt met de betrokken eindgebruikers en stelt vanuit jouw expertise de beste oplossing voor om de processen bij te sturen.
- Je legt de functionele analyses (Stories) uit aan de ontwikkelaars en volgt deze ontwikkelingen ook verder op tot de GO-Live.
- Je voorziet de eindgebruikers van de nodige documentatie om zich de nieuwe oplossing eigen te maken.
- Je voorziet ook trainingen voor de eindgebruikers indien nodig.
- Tijdens de hele implementatie behoud je een adviserende en begeleidende rol.

Wie ben jij?
- Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma.
- Je hebt ervaring met functionele analyses (systeem en/of proces) en met bedrijfsprocessen (boekhouding, logistiek, verkoop).
- Je hebt een sterke interesse in bedrijfsprocessen.
- Je kan details van de essentie onderscheiden, zodat je meteen de echte knelpunten en opportuniteiten herkent.
- Je kan overweg met datatools en kan databases ondervragen of hebt een sterke interesse in dat gebied. Kennis van PowerBI, SQL en IBM Series (AS/400) is gewenst.
- In deze job heb je een intensief contact met je interne collega’s en externe partners. Je kan overweg met verschillende persoonlijkheidstypes, bent discreet en respectvol, en bouwt vlot professionele relaties op.
- Je bent sterk in plannen en organiseren.
